1. แตกไฟล์ plugin ไปที่ไดเร็คทอรี่ใดๆ ก็ได้
2. รัน Total Commander, เลือก Configuration >> Options
3. เปิดที่หน้า 'Packer'
4. เลือก 'Configure packer extension WCXs'
5. พิมพ์นามสกุลที่ plugin สนับสนุน เช่น lst ใช้เพื่อทำ diskdir
6. เลือก 'New type' และเลือกไฟล์นามสกุล wcx
